Scanning Tutorial

Overview

After completing this tutorial, users should be able to:

  1. Initiate scanning using the buttons on the scanner itself
  2. Manually scan images using Photoshop
  3. Manipulate (Crop, Resize, Rotate) scanned images in Photoshop
  4. Manually scan text using TextBridge
  5. Know what OCR is and what type of documents are best suited for text scanning
  6. Know about some common image formats and their uses
  7. Save/Copy scanned files to Floppy disk, Zip disk, CD/CD-RW, USB Flash Drive, Webspace, E-mail
